Vlog: Day 2: Make Your Brain Work Better

Vlog #2: challenge: Change up your routine!Good Morning! I am your host Simona from Couch 2 FIRE and today we are going to discuss one of the most important part of yourself: your brain! In order for all of us to get out of our normal everyday actions, we really have to try to make our brain work. I want to challenge all of us to try to get out of a simple habit and make a new change and it's as simple action that all of us can do. Simple changes can alter your brain for the positive. I am an efficient person. I try my best to be efficient in a lot of my life: getting to work on time and finding the best route to get from point A to point B. I try to count the steps from my parking space to the entrance at work. Well, let's try to change one thing different. Park at a different location, go a different route to work, try a different way of doing something. I my change will be for 1 month, to walk into my office complex and different way. I usually go to the quickest way: the side entrance that is closest to the parking lot. Right? Efficiency! But I started this new route this week. I told myself, hey, "Simona, if you are wanting self confidence, do the part: think that way. Dress like you have it, feel like you have it, and act like you have it." So, my office building has this wonderful entrance to it: they spent a bunch of money and made it look really awesome! I am going to go extra steps from the parking lot to the FRONT entrance. Because you know what? I am important, I am the person they made this for, I am confident in my ways, and I am amazing! I think of these positive thoughts as you walk into my job. And then because of the way the palm trees are placed, I think of that I am of royalty walking to my building, I am confident, and have influence, I am amazing.So I challenge you to switch it up: do something different that makes you feel good. My husband always drives to a nicer part of town to get from point A to B because it looks nicer. There is a lot to be said of being in the nicest part of town: it may be just a few steps more or maybe 5 mins more to get home but, you'll feel much better of yourself and your surroundings. Give it a try: you are worth it and you are amazing! 💗
